Holi Festival Celebration at Trishla Foundation Cerebral Palsy Centre in India

We had an unforgettable memory of celebration of Holi " festival of color & happiness on 25th Feb 2018 at prayag sangeet samiti, Allahabad. Nearly 200 children with Cerebral palsy and their families irrespective of Caste, religion and geographical boundary participated in this celebration of Gulal & flower. A shower of Gulal and flower petal was pouring on our children from all around. Smile on the faces of children and their families was unbelievable. This program was most successful and succeeded in giving happiness to all special families. hundreds of our colleague & friends also join us to give a blessing to our children. Ghujiya, Dhandhi sarbat & different color & taste papad, jalebi, dahi and in the end Tasty lunch gave us more joy. thanks to the whole team of trishla foundation for making this program most successful program so far.

सेरिब्रल पैल्सि मुख्य किस्में (Major Types of Cerebral Palsy)

सेरिब्रल पैल्सि (Cerebral Palsy) की तीन मुख्य किस्में :

१.स्पास्टिक सेरिब्रल पैल्सि (Spastic Cerebral Palsy)

प्रभावित लोगों में से लगभग 70 से 80 प्रतिशत लोग स्पास्टिक सेरिब्रल पैल्सि से ग्रस्त होते हैं, जिसमें कि मांसपेशियां सख्त होती हैं जो कि गतिविधि को मुश्किल बना देती हैं। 

जब दोनों टांगें प्रभावित होती हैं (स्पास्टिक डिप्लेजिआ), तो बच्चे को चलने में मुश्किल हो सकती है क्योंकि कूल्हे एवं टांगों की सख्त मांसपेशियां टांगों को अंदर की ओर मोड़ सकती हैं और घुटने पर क्रास कर सकती हैं (इसे सिजरिंग कहा जाता है)। अन्य मामलों में शरीर का केवल एक पक्ष प्रभावित होता है (स्पास्टिक हेमिप्लेजिआ), अक्सर बाहें टांगों के मुकाबले ज्यादा गहराई से प्रभावित होती हैं। सर्वाधिक गंभीर स्पास्टिक क्वाडरिपलेजिआ होती है, जिसमें कि अक्सर मुंह और जीभ को नियंत्रित करने वाली मांसपेशियों के साथ-साथ सभी चारों अंग और धड़ा प्रभावित होता है। स्पास्टिक क्वाडरिपलेजिआ वाले बच्चों में मंदबुद्धि और अन्य समस्याएं पायी जाती हैं।

२.डिसकाइनेटिक सेरिब्रल पैल्सि (Dyskinetic Cerebral Palsy) 

लगभग 10 से 20 प्रतिशत में डिसकाइनेटिक रूप होता है जो कि समूचे शरीर को प्रभावित करता है। इसका पता मांसपेशी के टोन में उतार-चढ़ावों (बहुत सख्त से लेकर बहुत अधिक ढीले तक बदलता रहता है) से चलता है और कई बार यह अनियंत्रित गतिविधि से जुड़ा होता है (जो कि धीमी एवं मुड़ी हुई या त्वरित एवं झटकेदार हो सकती है)।

कायदे से बैठने एवं चलने के लिए अपने शरीर को नियंत्रित करने के लिए बच्चों को अक्सर सीखने में परेशानी होती है। क्योंकि चेहरे एवं जीभ की मांसपेशियां प्रभावित हो सकती हैं, इसके अलावा चूसने, निगलने और बोलने में भी मुश्किल आ सकती है।

३.एटाक्सिक सेरिब्रल पैल्सि (Ataxic Cerebral Palsy)

लगभग 5 से 10 प्रतिशत इसके एटाक्सिक रूप से ग्रस्त होते हैं, जो कि संतुलन एवं समन्वयन को प्रभावित करती है। वे अस्थिर चाल के साथ चल सकते हैं और उन्हें उन गतियों में मुश्किल आती है जिनके लिए सटीक समन्वयन की आवश्यकता होती है, जैसे कि लेखन।
